An enigma…

Was going through my Aperture library and found this picture i took sometime ago. I have no idea what happens here or what its purpose is, but i feel like its something that would be right at home in industrial park Germany.

Ode to a Fallen Champion

This week Beull, a division of the Harley Davidson motorcycle company, announced that they would be shutting down their line of sport bikes. Being a long time Buell rider it was a hit to the heart that was in need of a tribute. I took this shot on Las Olas, in the Fort Lauderdale Riverfront district.

A Beautiful Ghost Town

Few moths ago I was wandering down Las Olas Blvd, in Fort Lauderdale’s riverfront district. I snapped this picture of a store front that caught my eye. It was a beautifully sad thing, mainly because this was taken on a Saturday night. A true and unparalleled display of our current economic plight. With no one around it made a great spot for a night shoot, but i couldn’t help notice that these places are lost without people.

Flamingo Gardens in Davie Florida
A great escape from the concrete jungle of South Florida, Flamingo Gardens is a safe haven for a large assortment of plants, animals, and history. Animals wander all over the reserve allowing most people to get right up close. Flamingo Gardens also features a fully enclosd habitat where birds of all shapes and sizes are free to roam…and poop (consider that a warning). Reasonably priced and with student discounts its a great stop of anyone, especially if you’re handy with a camera.
